South Africa has a growing network of laboratories that support SAHPRA-licensed cultivators and processors. Services typically include cannabinoid profiling (THC, CBD, CBG, CBN, etc.), residual solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins and microbial testing. Operators should confirm current ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and experience with cannabis matrices.

Several larger licensed cultivators and manufacturers operate or partner with dedicated analytical labs for in-process and release testing. These facilities support batch release documentation required for export markets.
